Friendly and helpful staff who provide great advice on things to do and tours in the area. Cozy and nice facilities that are constantly being improved. - the feeling of staying with a local family, making you feel welcome and at home. - Delicious food cooked by the hosts, creating a family-like atmosphere. - Support for local businesses and families.
The bathroom sink being outside of the bathroom, which can be inconvenient. The common spaces being shared with the family that lives there, although they are friendly.

The staff was incredibly kind and made us feel at home. They were attentive and helpful, especially when my friend fell ill. They even provided tea and contacted a nurse for assistance. the location was perfect as it was just a 5-minute walk to the center, allowing us to experience the vibrant atmosphere of the town.
The cleanliness of the bathroom left much to be desired. It was quite dirty and not up to standard.

The staff was incredible, always going above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. They even cooked a special meal for me when I wasn't feeling well. the location was perfect, just a short walk from the town center but still quiet and peaceful. Plus, the homemade breakfasts were absolutely delicious!
The rooms were a bit stuffy at times, especially with the hot weather. And there didn't seem to be hot water, which was a bit disappointing.

We had a wonderful stay at Paco House. The hosts treated us like family, inviting us to join them for meals and making us feel at home. The rooms may be small, but that didn't bother us because of everything else provided. The homemade breakfast was delicious and the hostel had a great atmosphere with art on the walls. The location was also perfect with easy access to everything.

I recently stayed at Paco House for a couple of nights while passing through. The owners are such a lovely tico couple who made me feel right at home. The kitchen was available for use, and everything was clean, from the bathroom to the sheets and towels. The price was also very reasonable, making it a great value for my stay.
I do recommend this hotel.

I had a superb stay at a cozy house in Monteverde. The hosts were kind and accommodating, going above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Despite a small mix-up with my reservation, they quickly arranged for me to stay in a spacious double room with a private bathroom. The room was clean and cozy, providing the perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. I also enjoyed a delicious and filling breakfast each morning, prepared by the lovely hosts. The internet connection was fast and reliable, allowing me to stay connected. Plus, the location was convenient, with easy access to the town center. The highlight of my stay was getting to meet Pepa, the adorable pet pig! She added a touch of unique charm to my experience.

The cozy and familiar atmosphere of this place made our romantic escape truly special. the hosts were incredibly loving and caring, making us feel like part of their family from the moment we arrived. the delicious breakfast served every morning was a delightful way to start our day. the location, although a short walk from the center, was in a quiet area, allowing us to enjoy some peaceful moments together. the strong wifi connection was a pleasant surprise, allowing us to stay connected and share our memorable moments with our loved ones.
The rooms with private bathrooms are located in a different place in town. Despite this minor inconvenience, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a homely and welcoming experience.
